A Church Built on Faith: Balagbag Milaor Alliance Church

Balagbag Milaor Alliance Church, located in Barangay Balagbag, Milaor, Camarines Sur, began as a small gathering of faith and hope.

The church first took root on the lanai of Rosie, a member of Naga City Alliance Church. There, children would sit together, eagerly listening to Bible stories shared by church worker Ptr. Mae Yadao. What started as a simple children’s Bible time soon drew the attention of mothers and other family members, and the small gathering quickly grew.

As more families joined, the space became crowded. By God’s grace, Rosie’s brother felt led by the Holy Spirit to donate a portion of his property for the future church building. This generous act opened the door for the ministry to grow and take a more permanent shape.

In response to God’s leading, Mia Peña, along with Theresa Po and her family, faithfully partnered in supporting the construction of Balagbag Milaor Alliance Church. Today, the church is home to eight regular families who gather for Sunday worship. In addition, teens and young adults meet on Fridays and Saturdays for fellowship, prayer, and encouragement.

What began as a small gathering on a lanai has become a growing church community—rooted in faith, built through obedience, and sustained by the love of God.
